Croucher Course Virus Evolution and Epidemiology, Hong Kong

The DeZi Network and partners will contribute to the forthcoming Croucher Course on Virus Evolution and Epidemiology in Hong Kong, bringing together early‑career researchers and international experts for an intensive training programme.

The course will cover key topics at the interface of viral evolution, genomics and epidemiology, including phylogenetics, transmission dynamics, and the use of genomic data to inform public health responses. Participants will gain hands‑on experience with analytical tools and approaches used to investigate emerging and re‑emerging viral threats.

This course forms part of DeZi’s ongoing commitment to training and capacity building, supporting the next generation of scientists working at the front line of epidemic preparedness and response.
