About us

The DeZi Network builds diagnostics, genomic surveillance and training across 20+ partner countries in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas to improve detection and response as mosquito-borne viral epidemics escalate under climate change.

5.7 billion people live in areas at risk for dengue, chikungunya and Zika, and 1.5 billion people for yellow fever. Countries in orange and red have the highest burden. Source.

Arbovirus serology

Developing and implementing local capacity to deploy high‑specificity serological assays to reconstruct past exposure and population‑level immunity to dengue and Zika.

Molecular diagnostics

Improving and validating molecular diagnostics to enable on-site timely, accurate detection of dengue, Zika and other arboviruses in endemic settings.

Arbovirus genomics

Integrating real‑time on-site genomic sequencing and analysis to track virus evolution, transmission, and outbreak dynamics.

Capacity strengthening

Building sustainable laboratory, analytical, and leadership capacity through training, technology transfer, and long‑term partnerships.
